Birthdays

The chime pulls up outside, the door opens, and the party stops. We do birthdays properly. The birthday song plays over the speaker, and the birthday star gets their cone free. They can come up into the van and serve their own friends their ice creams, then take home a certificate for doing it and a birthday card from the ice cream van. Works just as well for an 18th or a 50th as it does for a fifth birthday.

Event Questions, Answered

Do your staff hold a Blue Card or Working With Children Check?

Yes. We hold a current Working With Children Check and can provide our details to schools, childcare centres and other organisations on request.

Do you need power or water on site?

No. We arrive fully self-contained with our own generator, so there's no need to provide power or water. If there's a power point nearby, we're always grateful to use it, but it's never expected.

Can you do multi-day festivals and markets?

Yes. We regularly cater for events like the eleven-day Swell Sculpture Festival, so whether your event runs for one day or several, we're happy to be there for the duration. If you're organising the event, we'll provide all the compliance documents and site information you need well before the day. You'll find more detail for organisers on our event organisers page.

How much space and what access does the van need?

Our ice cream van is approximately 7 metres long and 2 metres wide. It requires safe vehicle access to the serving location and can park on most firm, level surfaces, including bitumen, concrete and grass, provided conditions are suitable. If you're unsure whether the van will fit or have any access questions, just get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

How much does it cost for my event?

Every event is different, so we provide a tailored quote based on your date, location and estimated guest numbers. Once we know a little about your event, we'll recommend the option that suits you best.

Do you travel outside the Gold Coast?

Yes. We regularly travel throughout the Gold Coast, the Hinterland and South East Queensland. If your event is outside our usual service area, just get in touch. We'll always do our best to help and can provide a tailored quote based on your location.
